American Tune

A couple weeks ago I drove out to Antelope Island for a quick couple hours. It was overcast and I didn’t really expect to see anything amazing for photographs.

On the drive out, feeling overcast and grey myself, my local radio station (KRCL, iykyk…) was playing a cover of Paul Simon’s American Tune. I don’t think I can write the lyrics here because of copyright, but you can look them up here:

When I think of the road we’re traveling on, I wonder what’s gone wrong, I can’t help it I wonder what’s gone wrong.
The tune was based on a chorale from J.S. Bach’s St. Matthew’s Passion.
