Vigil: Winter Visions of Great Salt Lake is a 32 page eBook that features images and words inspired by Great Salt Lake during the 2023 Utah Legislative Session.

The concept of creating my own Vigil for Great Salt Lake was inspired by Nan Seymour. For years I had wanted to work on a Great Salt Lake photography project, but couldn’t find a connecting thread that made sense to me until I received an email about the 2024 vigil that asked the question, “How will you participate in the vigil?” It was an AHA moment.

But more importantly than a photography project, I wanted to be a witness to our sacred lake. And now I want to try to give back more than I received.

All proceeds from the sale of this eBook will go to organizations that benefit Great Salt Lake.

Friends of Great Salt Lake, Grow the Flow, and Save our Great Salt Lake are a few organizations working to advocate for, educate, influence, and protect Great Salt Lake.

Any proceeds from print sales will be donated to Great Salt Lake Watershed Enhancement Trust.
